D-Luxe Dispensary Has What You Need To Make Your Own Edibles

At some point, most marijuana enthusiasts attempt to make their own edibles, and D-Luxe Dispensary has the products you need to make this happen. Whether it’s an attempt to save money or just a desire to be creative, marijuana users can turn to the DIY method of making gummies infused with THC or CBD.

Of course, D-Luxe has numerous brands and flavors of marijuana edibles in stock at our Sapulpa location, but we also have the products needed to make them from scratch. The great thing about making your own gummies is that you can determine their strength. You can make them as strong or as weak as you want. You can constantly tweak the recipe until you find the desired strength. At first, making your own edibles can seem like a daunting task, but we can walk you through the steps, and you will look like an expert canna-cook after your first batch.

It may seem complicated, but it isn’t difficult at all. The recipe below is fun and easy, and it doesn’t take long to have a finished product that is ready to eat. From start to finish, it will take around four hours. Cannabis gummies are very popular because they are discrete, and they taste great. This is also an amazing option for regular cannabis smokers that can’t just light up anytime they want. Gummies are a smoke-free option that will still provide feelings of euphoria and relaxation.

Here are the ingredients needed:

  • ½ cup cannabis coconut oil
  • ½ cup your choice of fruit juice
  • One 85-gram Jello pack, flavored (or equivalent flavored gelatin packet)
  • 2 tbsp plain gelatin (for a vegan alternative replace with agar agar)
  • (Optional) ½ tsp sunflower or soy lecithin

You will also need:

  • Stove
  • Whisk
  • Saucepan
  • Gummy mold shape
  • Dropper
  • Refrigerator or freezer

Edible gummy recipe:

  • Add fruit juice, infused coconut oil, and your choice of lecithin (if using) to a saucepan and bring to low heat over the stove.
  • Stir continuously until the mixture has melted.
  • Add the flavored gelatin and unflavored gelatin to the melted mixture, continuing to stir.
  • Whisk the mixture on low heat for another 10 minutes until all of the gelatin has dissolved. Be sure to continuously whisk during this step.
  • Once the ingredients are combined, start to fill your dropper with the mixture and fill the molds. Do this quickly, and continue to whisk while filling each mold to prevent the mixture from hardening.
  • Place the molds into your freezer for 30 minutes, or you can place them in your refrigerator for around four hours.
  • To finish, you can sprinkle your gummies with canna sugar for better taste and more potency.
  • Now, it’s time to enjoy your gummies.

The Bottom Line

Just like everything in life, balance is necessary and can help with some of the negatives of wake and bake. Most stoners will tell you the positives far outweigh the negatives, and it’s often about timing and tolerance. Now that you have both sides of the wake and bake method, you can smoke marijuana before breakfast or after dinner. The choice is yours.

By the way, your keys are on the coffee table.
